A Look at Nizhoni Health’s Community Service in 2017
At Nizhoni Health, we strive to provide value for our clients and their communities whenever possible. This year, we are continuing two annual Nizhoni Health traditions to give back: our shelter drive and our participation in NAMIWalk Massachusetts 2017.
Throughout our company's history, Nizhoni Health has made efforts to hire the most thorough clinicians with a knack for seeing emerging trends in health care. We choose those that are dedicated not only to treating our clients effectively, but also finding ways to ensure our services become better each and every day. Our clinicians are truly dedicated to the communities in which they live and work.
On occasion, one of our clinicians will earn an award or demonstrate expertise through a quote in the media. We’re happy to say that one of our longest-tenured clinicians is featured in a recent post for Wicked Local Watertown.
At Nizhoni Health, we are proud of the work our clinicians do every day to help our clients achieve quality health outcomes. While they are an important part of providing ethical care for everyone, there are some other hardworking people that should also be recognized for their effort. November is National Family Caregivers Month, and we cannot thank family caregivers enough for their cooperation. When they work together with us, our clients can truly thrive.
It is crucial for Clinicians to pay close attention during and after a discharge from a medical facility. Medication errors and hospital readmissions can be common without the right guidance. Continue reading to find ways to ensure an effective transition home for you or a loved one.
Help Someone with Substance Abuse Treatment During National Recovery Month
Each year, National Recovery Month takes on a new theme to emphasize the importance of guiding others through the long process of recovery. The theme for National Recovery Month 2016 is “Join the Voices for Recovery: Our Families, Our Stories, Our Recovery!” Help from a family member can make all the difference for those in recovery. Telling personal stories is an effective way to share successes and inspire others battling drug or alcohol addiction.
Nizhoni Health works with the Massachusetts chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to promote their events and raise awareness for programs and research. Our relationship with NAMI has grown since we first worked together more than a decade ago. We share a common goal with NAMI: to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illnesses.
Home health care is a great option for anyone who cannot easily get themselves to an outpatient facility, doctor’s office or hospital on a regular basis. There are different services that home health care clinicians can provide from physical or occupational therapy, speech therapy, medication management and wound care to name a few.
